I am happy to join Mike Bloomberg as a founding partner of the New Economy Forum. China and other Asian markets are the future for our business. The forum in Beijing is a bold initiative that will give us a chance to tell our story, and will allow us to begin new relationships with key stakeholders from China and other emerging countries in the new economy.
Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive, Dangote Industries Limited
This forum will bring business and governments from across the globe together to discuss how we shape and navigate the next global economic era. A critical issue this group will address is how to meet the world’s growing energy needs. Affordable energy will be necessary for economies to expand. Providing affordable energy while mitigating the risk of climate change is a dual challenge that will require innovative solutions. ExxonMobil looks forward to the discussion.
