Delegate Digest: International Women’s Day, Ayala Rises, and Rubenstein features Griffin

Delegate Digest:

A weekly roundup of news stories highlighting the global delegates of the Bloomberg New Economy Community and their actions taken to address the world’s most significant changes and challenges.

What’s possible when a woman feels like she belongs? Everyone else around her finally sees what she’s capable of…”  noted Beth Brooke-Marciniak on International Women’s Day as part of EY’s Women Athletes Business Network. Many of our delegates celebrated the day through social media posts spotlighting their female employees.

Ayala Corp. saw an impressive 2018, with their net income raising by 5%. “Our profitability has also improved steadily over the past 10 years, growing at a compounded annual rate of 15 percent,” Ayala President and COO Fernando Zobel de Ayala said.

David Rubenstein recorded his latest episode of The David Rubenstein Show in Bloomberg’s Global Headquarters. He interviewed Ken Griffin, Founder and CEO of Citadel. Both financiers are on The New Economy Forum Advisory Board and share a profound love for philanthropy. You can watch past episodes of Peer to Peer Conversations here and stay up to date on when the Griffin episode airs by following us on social media.
